Breakfast Activity Club

We run a BREAKFAST ACTIVITY CLUB for Primary School Children on Tuesday Mornings at Carrickphierish Community Campus.

8 to 8.30am | Have a Ball Activities @ The Sports Hub
8.30 to 8.45am | Breakfast Time @ Carrickphierish Library
(Healthy breakfast provided; cereal, water, fruit)
8.45 to 8.55am | Library Time @ Carrickphierish Library
The children are then escorted to school.

This Programme is being run in partnership with Waterford GAA Coaching and Games Development. Supported by Carrickphierish Library Services and Waterford City and County Council.

€2 per child per week.

Multi-Activity Club

Calling all children aged 7- 12 years in the Carrickphierish/ Gracedieu area!

Our Multi- Activity Club is starting up again on Monday 16^th September from 5- 6pm in the Community Sports Hub. This club will run for a 6 week block and will give children an opportunity to try a variety of sports and activities led by a WSP tutors. Each week there will be new session guaranteeing plenty of fun!

The aim of the sessions are to:

To keep active
Have fun!
Make new friends
Try something new
Take part in a whole range of different sports and activities!

The cost is €2 per session per child.

Northern Suburbs Community Youth Project

The North Suburbs Community Youth Project (CYP) works with young people aged 10-21 years living in the Gracedieu, Hillview and Logloss areas of Waterford City. The community house, at 64 Gracedieu, offers a range of activities and learning opportunities for young people such as recreational, educational and development programmes. It provides a safe space for space young people to meet in their community.

ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMMES ON OFFER:
Baking/cooking, arts and crafts, sport and fitness, team building exercises, team challenges, Issue work (drugs, sexual health, personal development programs, informal drop in (pool, play station etc) seasonal programs (Easter, summer, Halloween), special interest groups (movie group, drama, art and baking), employment support and out of project activities.

Carrickphierish Library

The state of the art Library in Carrickphierish opened in May 2017. Library users can avail of free Internet access, free WiFi, self service printing, books, DVDs, magazines and a whole lot more. There are rooms available for community groups which can be booked in advance for meetings, classes etc. The building itself incorporates several innovative design features including attractive indoor and outdoor spaces that the public can use and enjoy.
