Chair Based Yoga is suitable for older adults that would like to take part in some form of gentle exercise.
Chair based yoga is a gentle from of yoga that’s done while seated or using a chair for balance.
Chair yoga can improve flexibility, concentration, and strength, while boosting mood, and reducing stress and joint strain.
Exercises will be adapted to individual ability levels.
First time participants will feel:
- Without any difficulty be able to carry on talking.
- ‘Talk Test’ Intensity Score=> 2 – 3
