Women on the Move is a community based physical activity programme suitable for adult women (18+) that would like to take part in some form of moderate exercise.
It is suitable for beginners and women returning to exercise.
Each session will include cardio (walking/jogging) and upper and lower bodyweight exercises (squats, lunges, press ups, shoulder presses, etc.).
Exercises will be adapted to individual ability levels.
First time participants will feel:
- A little bit sweaty
- Be aware of their breathing.
- Able to carry on talking.
- ‘Talk Test’ Intensity Score => 5 – 6 = ‘Moderate Intensity Activity’
Venue: Indoors
Equipment: None. All exercises are using your own bodyweight only. Equipment may be introduced during the duration of the programme but is optional to use.

Wednesday 16th October | 6.30 to 7.30pm
@ The Causeway Tennis Club, Abbeyside
Cost: €30 per person for full programme.
