Waterford Sports Partnership is hosting the second of three seminars on Monday November 12th focusing on Warm Ups, Cool Downs and Stretching. This seminar will cover demonstrations from coaches on effective activities for warm ups, cool downs and incorporating dynamic and static stretching and will also cover core stability exercises for athlete injury prevention.
This seminar will be tutored by Peter Jones (Waterford Sports Partnership), Declan O’Leary (Coaching Ireland), John O’Neill (Munster Rugby Development Officer) and Jason Ryan (former Wexford Football Manger and PE Teacher at Coláiste Cathail Naofa, Dungarvan). As part of the Seminar participants will get a chance to deliver their own session to fellow group members and gain constructive feedback which will help to develop their own coaching skills.
The second Seminar, Warm Ups, Cool Downs and Stretching will take place on Monday 12th November in the Kingfisher Club Waterford at 7.15pm with registration starting at 7pm. As this is a practical seminar, participants are asked to wear appropriate clothing.
Booking is essential as places are limited. The cost of the seminar is €10 per person with a Special Group Rate of €25 per Seminar for 3 coaches from the same club.
