If you would like to become a volunteer pilot, all your need to do is complete our Trishaw Pilot Training course and be Garda Vetted by Deise Day Centre.
This interactive training takes approximately 2 hours, with a mix of theory and practical aspects. Pilots will engage in group discussions and learn about the origins of Cycling Without Age and how this movement began in Ireland. Each pilot will be given the opportunity to get to know ‘Saoirse’ and become comfortable and confident taking older adults for spins.
Before undertaking this training, it is important that you are a confident cyclist and have a basic knowledge of road safety.
