Land-based Grant | Sample Answers

SAMPLE ANSWER A:

Club name: Cliffside Climbing Club

1: Describe the proposed expenditure of the grant funding

The club will promote an introduction to climbing for 10 new participants. The club will use the grant to purchase 7 Helmets, 8 Harnesses and 2 sets of Quickdraws for new members to be able to participate in weekly training sessions.

2: How will the expenditure increase participation?

Some of our old Helmets and Harnesses are no longer safe to use and need to be replaced. We are currently limited in being able to take out new possible members due to lack of suitable equipment.

3: Costing Breakdown (please give details of costs of expenditure)

7 Simond Helmet @ €30 each (€30x 7 = €210)

X8 Simond Harness (Diff Sizes) @ €44 each (€44 x 8 = €352)

X2 Simond Quickdraws @ €65 each ( €65 x2 = €130)

Total: €210 + €352 = €130
