Waterford Sports Partnership is delighted to support Football for Life, a new 12-week recreational football programme for men aged 18 and over.
The programme will begin in September and is completely free to attend. Delivered as part of a men’s health research study by SETU, in partnership with the FAI and HSE, Football for Life aims to help men become more active, improve their health and wellbeing, and meet new people through enjoyable, non-competitive football. Participants will attend two one-hour sessions each week. Sessions will include warm-up activities, football skills and small-sided games, with no previous football experience required. Participants will also receive free health assessments and personalised feedback throughout the programme.
The programme will be delivered at two locations:
Dungarvan United AFC, Kilrush Park, Dungarvan
