We are running two Easter Multi-Activity Camps at Carrickphierish Sports Hub. From Tuesday 23rd to Friday 26th April | 11am – 2pm A chance to try lots of different sports, enjoy fun games and library time.
MULTI-ACTIVITY CAMP FOR 4 to 8 YEAR OLDS Tuesday 23rd & Wednesday 24th April 11am – 2pm
MULTI-ACTIVITY CAMP FOR 9 to 15 YEAR OLDS Thursday 25th & Friday 26th April 11am – 2pm
Women on the Move is a six week activity programme suited to all age groups and includes activities which cater for all fitness levels. Each session lasts for one hour and depending on the weather may be indoor/outdoors. The programme includes fun games and workouts which help to improve cardiovascular health, strength, flexibility and mobility.
Over the past couple of years we have run successful Women on the Move Programmes in Dungarvan, Portlaw, Lismore, Carrickphierish & Clashmore/Kinsalebeg.
All the women who have participated have thoroughly enjoyed the experience, one participant said ‘I really loved doing it with friends that I made and helped me get fitter also’.

Calling all children aged 7- 12 years in the Carrickphierish/ Gracedieu area!
A NEW Multi- Activity Club starting on Monday 21st January from 5- 6pm in the Community Sports Hub. This club will run for a 6 week block and will give children an opportunity to try a variety of sports and activities led by a WSP tutors. Each week there will be new session guaranteeing plenty of fun!

The cost is €2 per session per child, the club will run from Monday 21st January to Monday 25th February 2019

Northern Suburbs Community Youth Project

The North Suburbs Community Youth Project (CYP) works with young people aged 10-21 years living in the Gracedieu, Hillview and Logloss areas of Waterford City. The community house, at 64 Gracedieu, offers a range of activities and learning opportunities for young people such as recreational, educational and development programmes. It provides a safe space for space young people to meet in their community.
ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMMES ON OFFER: Baking/cooking, arts and crafts, sport and fitness, team building exercises, team challenges, Issue work (drugs, sexual health, personal development programs, informal drop in (pool, play station etc) seasonal programs (Easter, summer, Halloween), special interest groups (movie group, drama, art and baking), employment support and out of project activities.
The state of the art Library in Carrickphierish opened in May 2017. Library users can avail of free Internet access, free WiFi, self service printing, books, DVDs, magazines and a whole lot more. There are rooms available for community groups which can be booked in advance for meetings, classes etc. The building itself incorporates several innovative design features including attractive indoor and outdoor spaces that the public can use and enjoy.
