

This is a two-day course developing basic skills to deal with multiple casualties / injuries. It covers most of the situations which can arise at the scene of an accident or emergency. This course will cover: vital signs, accident procedure,injury management, first aid kits, common medical, emergencies, casualty handling, multiple casualties & prioritisation (Triage), drowning, resuscitation & CPR.
Award
Participants receive a Certificate recognising their achievement in fulfilling the course criteria.
Course Fee
The course is subsidised by Waterford Sports Partnership for Waterford based coaches & players – fee payable is €50.00 per person. Those interested outside Waterford please contact the office for fee and availability information.
