Sports Inclusion Disability Officer - SIDO.Waterford Sports Partnership recently appointed Katie Kelly to the newly created position of Sports Inclusion Disability Officer (SIDO) from funding secured from Pobal under the Dormant accounts Fund. Katie’s overriding goal will involve increasing participation levels of individuals with a disability in sport and physical activity. Katie will be responsible for the development, delivery and monitoring of sport and physical activity programmes for individuals with a disability. Furthermore, any work undertaken will support the work programme of Waterford Sports Partnership.

Helpers Certificate - Swimming for People with Disabilities.
Boccia - For young people with a physical disability, siblings & friends.
Wheelchair/Powerchair Soccer - All ages welcome.
- For children (4-8 yrs) with Down Syndrome, Dyspraxia or Intellectual Disability. - For children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.Disability Awareness Coaching Course - For Coaches, Clubs, Sports Development Officers, Volunteers, Sports Leaders, Youth Club leaders, those involved in or with an interest in the inclusion of people with a disability in sports and physical activity.
