Sports Inclusion Disability Officer - SIDO.In early 2008, Waterford Sports Partnership appointed Katie Kelly to the position of Sports Inclusion Disability Officer (SIDO) from funding secured from Pobal under the Dormant Accounts Fund, with further funding secured from 2010-2011 from the Irish Sports Council and local funding. Katie’s overriding goal involves increasing participation levels of individuals with a disability in sport and physical activity. Katie is responsible for the development, delivery and monitoring of sport and physical activity programmes for individuals with a disability. Furthermore, any work undertaken will support the work programme of Waterford Sports Partnership.
